Two Baha'i citizen were arrested in Mashhad by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.

HRA- The Baha'i rights committee of HRA reports that around 8 o'clock p.m on Monday November 2, 2009 security forces of Mashhad attacked to a religious session of Baha'is in this town. They asked the attendants to follow up their program. Meanwhile they filmed the program and its attendants.

At the end of the session agents started to search the house and announced the arrest warrant of "Sonia Ahmadi". Considering she was absent in the session, the security forces went to her house and after search, arrested her and took her to an unknown location. Also to mention that another Baha'i by the name of Mr Ghanavatian which was present in the session is the other arrested Baha'i of this day in Mashhad.
